Anti-SOFAT antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SOFAT is a known alias name of the protein threonine synthase like 2, encoded by the THNSL2 gene in humans. This 484-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a catabolic phospho-lyase on both gamma- and beta-phosphorylated substrates. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebral cortex, tonsil, and appendix. Indicated applications for SOFAT antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
