Anti-SKR5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SKR5 is a known alias name of the protein bone morphogenetic protein receptor type 1A, encoded by the BMPR1A gene in humans. This 532-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in angiogenesis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in skeletal muscle. Other synonyms for SKR5 include 10q23del, ACVRLK3, and ALK-3. Some SKR5 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
