Anti-NISBD antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The NISBD antigen is another term for the human protein ADAM metallopeptidase domain 17, encoded by the ADAM17 gene. The protein is known to function in B cell differentiation and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 824 residues and a mass of 93 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for NISBD include ADAM18, CD156B, and CSVP.
