Anti-QCR8 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the QCR8 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the UQCRQ gene, which encodes ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase complex III subunit VII. This protein is known to function in brain development, among other biological roles. The human version of QCR8 has a canonical amino acid length of 82 residues and a protein mass of 9.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as MC3DN4.
