Anti-PSDP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PSDP is a known alias name of the protein phospholipid phosphatase 6, encoded by the PLPP6 gene in humans. This 295-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cholesterol metabolism and homeostasis and innate immune responses, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and ER of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
