Anti-PKU1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PKU1 is a known alias name of the protein phenylalanine hydroxylase, encoded by the PAH gene in humans. This 452-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the hydroxylation of L-phenylalanine to L-tyrosine. It is reported to be expressed in the testis, liver, kidney, and gallbladder. Other synonyms for PKU1 include PH and PKU. Indicated applications for PKU1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
