Anti-RIMBP3.1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RIMBP3.1 is a known alias name of the protein RIMS binding protein 3, encoded by the RIMBP3 gene in humans. This 1639-amino acid residue protein is a suspected component of the manchette, a microtubule-based structure which plays a key role in sperm head morphogenesis during late stages of sperm development. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in the testis.
