Anti-PTP36 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PTP36 is a known alias name of the protein protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 14, encoded by the PTPN14 gene in humans. This 1187-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and protein dephosphorylation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for PTP36 include CATLPH and PEZ.
