Anti-PDAP2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PDAP2 is a known alias name of the protein tumor suppressor 2, mitochondrial calcium regulator, encoded by the TUSC2 gene in humans. This 110-amino acid residue protein is believed to function as a a tumor suppressor, inhibiting colony formation, causing G1 arrest and ultimately inducing apoptosis in homozygous 3p213 120-kb region-deficient cells. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the heart, lung, skeletal muscle, kidney, and pancreas, followed by brain and liver, lowest levels in the placenta. Other synonyms for PDAP2 include C3orf11, FUS1, and PAP. Indicated applications for PDAP2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
