Anti-MNG1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The MNG1 antigen is another term for the human protein dicer 1, ribonuclease III, encoded by the DICER1 gene. The protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and the regulation of gene expression, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1922 residues and a mass of 218.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The MNG1 protein is a member of the Helicase protein family. Other alias names for MNG1 include DCR1, Dicer, and Dicer1e.
