Anti-RFVT3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RFVT3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC52A3 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 52 member 3. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of RFVT3 has a canonical amino acid length of 469 residues and a protein mass of 50.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the duodenum, urinary bladder, and appendix. RFVT3 is a member of the Riboflavin transporter protein family.
