Anti-PPP1R26 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 26. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1209 amino acid residues and a mass of 127.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. PPP1R26 is reported to inhibit phosphatase activity of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) complexes. Synonyms for this target antigen include NRBE3, 1A6/DRIM (down-regulated in metastasis) interacting protein, DRIM/UTP20 interacting protein, and KIAA0649. PPP1R26 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are common applications for PPP1R26 antibodies.
