Anti-orf15 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target orf15 is a known alias name of the protein retinitis pigmentosa GTPase regulator, encoded by the RPGR gene in humans. This 1020-amino acid residue protein is suspected to be a guanine-nucleotide releasing factor. It is localized to the Golgi and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for orf15 include COD1, CORDX1, and CRD. Indicated applications for orf15 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
