Anti-p120(CTN) antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The p120(CTN) antigen is another term for the human protein catenin delta 1, encoded by the CTNND1 gene. The protein is a reported key regulator of cell-cell adhesion that associates with and regulates the cell adhesion properties of both C-, E- and N-cadherins, being critical for their surface stability. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 968 residues and a mass of 108.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in vascular endothelium. The p120(CTN) protein is a member of the Beta-catenin protein family. Other alias names for p120(CTN) include BCDS2, CAS, and CTNND. Some p120(CTN) antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
