Anti-PLEXR antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PLEXR is a known alias name of the protein plexin B3, encoded by the PLXNB3 gene in humans. This 1909-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for SEMA5A that plays a role in axon guidance, invasive growth and cell migration. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate.
