Anti-NY-REN-2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NY-REN-2 is a known alias name of the protein YTH N6-methyladenosine RNA binding protein F2, encoded by the YTHDF2 gene in humans. This 579-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cell cycle and innate immune responses, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and down-regulated during neural differentiation.
