Anti-noxin antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target noxin is a known alias name of the protein DNA damage induced apoptosis suppressor, encoded by the DDIAS gene in humans. This 998-amino acid residue protein is believed to be an anti-apoptotic protein involved in DNA repair or cell survival. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in colorectal and lung cancer tissues. Indicated applications for noxin antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
