Anti-p125FAK antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target p125FAK is a known alias name of the protein protein tyrosine kinase 2, encoded by the PTK2 gene in humans. This 1052-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in angiogenesis and axon guidance, among other biological processes. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in B and T-lymphocytes. Other synonyms for p125FAK include FADK, FADK 1, and FAK. Some p125FAK antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
