Anti-PAPC antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PAPC is a known alias name of the protein protocadherin 8, encoded by the PCDH8 gene in humans. This 1070-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and cell to cell signaling, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications.
