Anti-NAPI-3B antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NAPI-3B is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 34 member 2, encoded by the SLC34A2 gene in humans. This 690-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in actively transporting phosphate into cells via Na(+) cotransport. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the lung. Other synonyms for NAPI-3B include NAPI-IIb and NPTIIb.
