Anti-PAR3B antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PAR3B antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PARD3B gene, which encodes par-3 family cell polarity regulator beta. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of PAR3B has a canonical amino acid length of 1205 residues and a protein mass of 132.5 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell junctions of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the gallbladder and kidney. PAR3B is a member of the PAR3 protein family.
