Anti-NEM/1CHD4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NEM/1CHD4 is a known alias name of the protein ribosomal protein SA, encoded by the RPSA gene in humans. This 295-amino acid residue protein is known to be required for the assembly and/or stability of the 40S ribosomal subunit. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of the cell and features cleaved post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
