Anti-NIC96 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NIC96 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NUP93 gene, which encodes nucleoporin 93. This protein is reported to play a role in the nuclear pore complex (NPC) assembly and/or maintenance. The human version of NIC96 has a canonical amino acid length of 819 residues and a protein mass of 93.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and membrane of cells. This target antigen may also be known as nuclear pore complex protein Nup93. Indicated applications for NIC96 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence.
