NFI, or Nuclear factor I/C (CCAAT-binding transcription factor), is a human gene encoded by NFIC. It may also be known as: Nuclear factor 1 C-type; NF1-C; Nuclear factor 1/C; Nuclear factor I/C; NF-I/C-C; CTF5; NF-I. The encoded protein has an amino acid length of 508 and a mass of 55.7 kDa. NFI is a member of the CTF/NF-I family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Mouse, Rat, Zebrafish, Frog, Chicken.
