Anti-NET3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NET3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TSPAN2 gene, which encodes tetraspanin 2. This protein is known to function in brain development, among other biological roles. The human version of NET3 has a canonical amino acid length of 221 residues and a protein mass of 24.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells. NET3 is a member of the Tetraspanin (TM4SF) protein family.
