Anti-p230 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target p230 is a known alias name of the protein golgin A4, encoded by the GOLGA4 gene in humans. This 2230-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in vesicular trafficking at the Golgi apparatus level. It is localized to the membrane, Golgi, and cytoplasm of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
