Anti-my036 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the my036 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ING4 gene, which encodes inhibitor of growth family member 4. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of my036 has a canonical amino acid length of 249 residues and a protein mass of 28.5 kilodaltons, although 8 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cervix, urinary bladder, and adrenal gland. This target antigen may also be known as p29ING4.
