Anti-NI220/250 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NI220/250 is a known alias name of the protein reticulon 4, encoded by the RTN4 gene in humans. This 1192-amino acid residue protein is known to be required to induce the formation and stabilization of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) tubules. It is localized to the ER and cell membrane of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate and cerebellum. Western Blot is the most common application for the NI220/250 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
