Anti-MET18 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MET18 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MMS19 gene, which encodes MMS19 homolog, cytosolic iron-sulfur assembly component. This protein is known to function in DNA damage pathways and DNA repair, among other biological roles. The human version of MET18 has a canonical amino acid length of 1030 residues and a protein mass of 113.3 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. MET18 is a member of the MET18/MMS19 protein family. Indicated applications for MET18 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
