Anti-MCIP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MCIP1 is a known alias name of the protein regulator of calcineurin 1, encoded by the RCAN1 gene in humans. This 252-amino acid residue protein is reported to inhibit calcineurin-dependent transcriptional responses by binding to the catalytic domain of calcineurin A. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and kidney. Other synonyms for MCIP1 include ADAPT78, CSP1, and DSC1. Western Blot is a widely used application for the MCIP1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
