Anti-KE04 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The KE04 antigen is another term for the human protein ER lipid raft associated 1, encoded by the ERLIN1 gene. The protein is a known component of the ERLIN1/ERLIN2 complex which mediates the endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) of inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors (IP3Rs). Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 348 residues and a mass of 39.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and it is found to be expressed in the heart, placenta, liver, kidney, pancreas, prostate, testis, ovary and small intestine. The KE04 protein is a member of the Band 7/mec-2 protein family. Other alias names for KE04 include C10orf69 and KEO4. Indicated applications for KE04 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
