Anti-ARS antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ARS antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DCPS gene, which encodes decapping enzyme, scavenger. The human version of ARS has a canonical amino acid length of 337 residues and a protein mass of 38.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as DCS1.
