Anti-LKR/SDH antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LKR/SDH antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AASS gene, which encodes aminoadipate-semialdehyde synthase. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of LKR/SDH has a canonical amino acid length of 926 residues and a protein mass of 102.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and duodenum. LKR/SDH is a member of the AlaDH/PNT protein family; Saccharopine dehydrogenase protein family. Indicated applications for LKR/SDH antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
