Anti-IFF antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The IFF antigen is another term for the human protein interferon beta 1, encoded by the IFNB1 gene. The protein is known to function in adaptive immune responses and B cell differentiation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 187 residues and a mass of 22.3 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein. The IFF protein is a member of the Alpha/beta interferon protein family. Other alias names for IFF include IFB and IFN-beta. Western Blot is the most common application for the IFF antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
