Anti-KXD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein KxDL motif containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 176 amino acid residues and a mass of 19.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the lysosomes. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the KXD1 protein family, KXD1 is known to be involved with vesicle-mediated transport. Synonyms for this target antigen include BLOC-1 related complex subunit 4, UPF0459 protein C19orf50, and kxDL motif-containing protein 1. KXD1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some KXD1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
