Anti-HUMM3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HUMM3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAN1A1 gene, which encodes mannosidase alpha class 1A member 1. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and protein glycosylation, among other biological roles. The human version of HUMM3 has a canonical amino acid length of 653 residues and a protein mass of 73 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells. HUMM3 is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 47 protein family.
