Anti-BMRP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BMRP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MRPL41 gene, which encodes mitochondrial ribosomal protein L41. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of BMRP has a canonical amino acid length of 137 residues and a protein mass of 15.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. BMRP is a member of the Mitochondrion-specific ribosomal protein mL41 protein family. Indicated applications for BMRP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
