Anti-HGRG8 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HGRG8 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the YTHDF2 gene, which encodes YTH N6-methyladenosine RNA binding protein F2. This protein is known to function in the cell cycle and innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of HGRG8 has a canonical amino acid length of 579 residues and a protein mass of 62.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. HGRG8 is a member of the YTHDF protein family.
