Anti-HCG1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HCG1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TRIM31 gene, which encodes tripartite motif containing 31. This protein is known to function in viral immune response and inflammatory response pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of HCG1 has a canonical amino acid length of 425 residues and a protein mass of 48.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the rectum, gallbladder, duodenum, colon, and appendix. HCG1 is a member of the TRIM/RBCC protein family. Indicated applications for HCG1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
