Anti-Mana2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Mana2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAN2A1 gene, which encodes mannosidase alpha class 2A member 1. This protein is known to function in in utero embryonic development and liver development, among other biological roles. The human version of Mana2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1144 residues and a protein mass of 131.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include AMan II and GOLIM7. Indicated applications for Mana2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Western Blot.
