Anti-MG160 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MG160 is a known alias name of the protein golgi glycoprotein 1, encoded by the GLG1 gene in humans. This 1179-amino acid residue protein is known to bind fibroblast growth factor and E-selectin (cell-adhesion lectin on endothelial cells mediating the binding of neutrophils). It is localized to the Golgi and cytoplasm of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for MG160 include CFR-1, ESL-1, and MG-160. Indicated applications for MG160 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
