Anti-LY94 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LY94 is a known alias name of the protein natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor 1, encoded by the NCR1 gene in humans. This 304-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a cytotoxicity-activating receptor that may contribute to the increased efficiency of activated natural killer (NK) cells to mediate tumor cell lysis. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features O-glycosylated and N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for LY94 include CD335 and NK-p46. Western Blot is the most common application for the LY94 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Flow Cytometry are also common applications.
