Anti-IBA2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the IBA2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AIF1L gene, which encodes allograft inflammatory factor 1 like. This protein is reported to be an actin-binding protein that promotes actin bundling. The human version of IBA2 has a canonical amino acid length of 150 residues and a protein mass of 17.1 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the colon and kidney.
