Anti-HNLX antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HNLX is a known alias name of the protein neuroligin 4 X-linked, encoded by the NLGN4X gene in humans. This 816-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in brain development and chemical synaptic transmission, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed at highest levels in the heart. Indicated applications for HNLX antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
