Anti-hClC-Ka antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the hClC-Ka antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CLCNKA gene, which encodes chloride voltage-gated channel Ka. This protein is known to function in the transport of ions, among other biological roles. The human version of hClC-Ka has a canonical amino acid length of 687 residues and a protein mass of 75.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in the testis. Other names for this target antigen include CLCK1, CLCK1, and ClC-K1. Indicated applications for hClC-Ka antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
