Anti-I-GlcNAc-6-ST antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the I-GlcNAc-6-ST antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CHST5 gene, which encodes carbohydrate sulfotransferase 5. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of I-GlcNAc-6-ST has a canonical amino acid length of 411 residues and a protein mass of 46.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells and notably expressed in the duodenum and small intestine. This target antigen may also be known as I-GlcNAc6ST. Indicated applications for I-GlcNAc-6-ST antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
