Anti-GUCA antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GUCA antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GUCA1A gene, which encodes guanylate cyclase activator 1A. This protein is known to function in signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of GUCA has a canonical amino acid length of 201 residues and a protein mass of 22.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in the retina. Other names for this target antigen include C6orf131, COD3, and CORD14. Indicated applications for GUCA antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
