Anti-ISG12B antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ISG12B antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the IFI27L2 gene, which encodes interferon alpha inducible protein 27 like 2. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of ISG12B has a canonical amino acid length of 130 residues and a protein mass of 12.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells. ISG12B is a member of the IFI6/IFI27 protein family.
