Anti-GM133 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GM133 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CEP350 gene, which encodes centrosomal protein 350. This protein is known to play an important role in centriole growth by stabilizing a procentriolar seed composed of at least, SASS6 and CENPJ. The human version of GM133 has a canonical amino acid length of 3117 residues and a protein mass of 350.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CAP350 and centrosome-associated protein 350.
