Anti-FOR20 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FOR20 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CEP20 gene, which encodes centrosomal protein 20. This protein is known to function in cilium assembly, among other biological roles. The human version of FOR20 has a canonical amino acid length of 174 residues and a protein mass of 19.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. FOR20 is a member of the CEP43 protein family.
